LogonUI.exe - Bad Image

Hi guys, I've had some problems today with my laptop after it shut down whilst using internet explorer and the message below was displayed. I've tried the obvious such as taking the battery out and re-booting but to no avail, can anyone help me? My system will not restart to the login menu at all!

C:\Windows\WinSxS\x86_microsoft.windows.gdiplus_6595b64144ccdf1df_1.0.6001.18065_none_9e7abe2ec9c132222\gdiplus.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.
