Lost all the games on Windows XP

Question

Temp worker installed IE7 while I was on vacation.  Lost my HP Scanner, Card Scanner, all my auto complete passwords!!  Wanted to get rid of some stress with a game of Spider Solitaire and all my games are GONE!!  How can I get them back??  My sanity depends on these games.   Thanks for any assistance.

Go to control panel and select add/remove Programs. Then select add/remove windows components. Wait until they show up and then highlight accessories and utilities. Then select details. There you will see your games. If the box is checked then uncheck it and select ok. This will uninstall the games. Then reboot and go back and do the same process but this time check the box for games and ok it. Then they should be back.   If that box for games is not checked when you first look then all you need to do is check it and ok that and wait until they are installed. Message Edited by dbramlet on 01-05-200701:03 PM
