Macromedia Flash Player - SWF adverts loading control method?

Hey everyone,

Does anyone know any software I could use to control if a Flash Movie loads on a page?

Like, for example, a plug-in that displays an icon or something, so that when you click it, it will then download the SWF file, and not automatically. I want to find out if there is one because I really can't stand Flash Movies just loading adverts all over the place!

I am using AdBolish from www.adbolish.com and find it very useful in blocking ALL swf files from loading (I know there is also an option in Internet Explorer > Tools > Options somewhere), but I want to be able to load some of them (one of my family members likes visiting Neopets!). I have been using Flash Saving Plugin from www.browsertools.net to find the URLs of SWF files that load on the page (because right-clicking it doesn't tell you anything, typical), then using AdBolish, add them to the Hosts file to block them (for example, isg04.casalemedia.com is 127.0.0.1 to localhost), so I can beat the SWF adverts in that field, but I just wanted to know if there was anything to control if a SWF file loads of a webpage.

I tried looking at Google, but I didn't find anything really matching what I want, but I didn't look really deep.

Thanking you in advance. I would be really thankful and would appreciate it very much if anybody knows anything.

Just about the AdBolish thing... the program has moved to www.adsgone.com with a whole new version now.

You could see if any of the options for flash player settings meet your needs:

Thanks for the link, I might try out some of the features in there.
