Macromedia FlashPlayer 8 Problems

Question

I am having problems with Macromedia FlashPlayer 8 and Internet Explorer 6,0. Immediately after downloading FlashPlayer 8 I begin to experience error messages and this leads to a blue screen and a system crash!  All returns to normal after I uninstall Flashplayer 8 and do a system restsore.  I have had three clean reinstalls in the past two months because of this ongoing problem.  Just last night I was on with Dell On Call and we still did not resolve the issue. Does anyone have similar issues with FlashPlayer 8. Perplexed Charles:smileysad:

See this forum post and the reference link. It may be part of your problem too since the latest Windows XP/IE 6 updates changed how Active X, including Macromedia flash is handled
