Malacious script

Question

Norton keeps telling me  as system is boooting that my pc has been halted because of a malicious script- sprtsvc.exe C:\program files\Dellsupport SupportsoftAgent Service I have a choice of stopping or permitting I have been stoppping it.  Takes a long time for windows to load and I discovered a few days after this appeared that I coukd not restore to a previous date. Does anyone know what it is and what to do with it? Any help would be appreciated.    Dell Dimension 4700 Pentium 4 CPU 3 512 Ram XP SP2

Uninstall Dell Support (my choice since Dell Support is not that helpful) or just let it run. It's not malicious. Your Norton just doesn't recognize it. Tell Norton it's OK.
