McAfee and Windows Mail

Question

Has anyone encounter e-mail problems with McAfee and windows mail? I am not able to sent e-mail but I do receive. Sending e-mail freezes the program and I am force to close the application.   Thanks.

Do you get any error messages when you try to send?   See this: http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/Help/7ba4b73a-33ee-4237-a994-9840892440761033.mspx     Also, if your version of McAfee has email scanning, disable it. It can cause problems like this. (Your email will still be scanned by McAfee when it is written to your hard drive- you are still protected).
