McAfee Spam Killer updates causes MS Window error
The McAfee security package included with my Inspiron 9300 causes Windows Application error whenever I try to update the Spam Killer software. It than closes the Spam Killer applicaiton. Is there some upadted needed from MS or do I have uninstall the McAffeee and re-install or what?

I had the exact same problem. The live support through McAfee were unable to remedy this. I also got a notification when the error would occur stating that Microsoft has been in touch with McAfee about it but at this time there is no resolution.
My email comes through AOL which is not supported by McAFee Spam Killer so the software wasn't doing me any good anyway so I just uninstalled the Spam Killer portion of the McAfee software so I would stop getting the auto-updates for the Spam Killer that couldn't update anyway.

I contacted Customer service, and that was a pain. I got them to give me an RMA and I sent back the CD. I just got notification that they will credit my Credit Card. I have to keep a look out to ensure it happens.
Another friend had a problem with McAfee. I will NEVER buy McAfee again.
