MCINFO caused invalid pg. fault.
After I open OE, I receive the following notice: MCINFO caused invalid pg. fault in module Kernel 32.dll@0167:BFF 74347
My OE starts to receive incomming email messages, then stops.
Appreciate any advise on how to clear this problem.
Note: I recently installed McAfee pkg that includes Firewall, Privacy Service, Virus Scan and McAfee security. Personally, I do not care for using the "Privacy Service" since it takes another long step to get logged onto OE or IE.
Can I "dump" the Privacy Service and Firewall but maintain the Virus Scan feature?

Thanks for the info, but, I do not have a McAfee CD. Original McAfee was installed by Dell when I purchased my PC. Over the years I have always re-purchased McAffee thru their download.
I thought that when I purchased the full pkg that McAfee had, I was getting something better than just the original McAfee Virus Scan, but I was wrong as I have found more problems with my PC operation after downloading their updated programs (that cost almost $80). The so called "Privacey service" would be OK if I were working with others on the same circut, but I am alone at home so really the PS only causes a lot of delay in opening up IE and/or OE. The Firewall is also another program I find now I do not need for same reason, I'm alone and no one else uses my PC.
How can I "unistall" the Privacey Service, and Firewall, and still just maintain the Virus Scan feature when I do not have the McAfee CD to reinstall?????
Thanks for your help, so far.

Thnx again for your help, but, if I go to the "remove" program and remove the McAfee portions I do not want to use at this time, I will not be able to "reinstall" the same programs again since the "add/remove" program asks for a floppy disk or CD in order to reinstall.
I've searched to find a phone # or email address for McAfee, but only source I can find at this time is one where they want about $39 to talk to some tech.
