MEdia Center 2004 BEWARE

Can someone tell me why my Laptop is only compatible with XP Home or Pro.  Can I upgrade my media center to XP PRO??

Media enter has some very specific hardware requirements. Read this... http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/mediacenter/upgrade/default.mspx Without knowing your PC, and since MS does not publish the actual requirements, it is difficult to answer your question.
