Media Player Liscence Problem
Hi, New here, 1st post.
I am having trouble with downloaded music. I have several tracks I downloaded using Musicmatch. I was having trouble downloading some tracks. I paid for 2 CD's and when downloading them I received an error message telling me an error occurred when trying to license my Musicmatch download. The exact error was "DLS_ERR_PRE_LISCENCE::The parameter is incorrect." I contacted Musicmatch to solve this problem and they told me to upgrade from Media Player 9 to Media Player 10. This caused even more trouble.
Now, when I try to play tracks that I downloaded a long time ago I can't play them. I get an error message in Musicmatch. It is c00d277f.
When I try to play them in Media Player 10 I get this error message "Secure storage protection error. Restore your licenses from a previous backup and try again."
I signed up for Napster and I can't even get it to open. I get this error message when trying to open Napster up."We had trouble configuring you Windows Media Player. Please contact Customer Support" They had me reload Media Player 10, Rename my DRM to DRM2, and rename me bin files from .bin to .old.
Now I have a bunch of music I paid for and can't play. I have music I paid for through Musicmatch and I can't download. And I have paid for a music service I can't use. I have searched all over the web for solutions and can't seem to find anything. I did find a place that I think is affiliated with Microsoft where about a million people had the same problem but nobody was answering any of their question.
I am using a Dell inspiron 8600 running Windows XP Service pack 2. Oh, I should also tell you I am not a computer wiz. So step by step instructions are best if someone has the time. I apologize if this question has been answered but I couldn't find it when doing a search. Thanks in advance.
Peace,
INKMAN
