MEDia Player want burn!! HELP!!
I have window xp and I upgraded my windows media player to ver 11 now It want burn cds. It reads the cd's when I insert one and I can play from the cd but cant burn to the cd. Should I go back to ver 10 which was working just fine or what? Help someone!! I can burn files to the cd but just not thru media player.

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
I have read that uninstalling KB929399 (Microsoft Critical Update for Windows Media Player 11 SDK) fixed the problem. I cannot say for certain if it will work or not. Here are some links from google I found. Take a look at the links by clicking the title below.

If Jesse L's advice doesn't work, I'd suggest using one or other of the many FREE burning programs available instead - i.e:
CD Burner XP
ImgBurn
Deep Burner
Final Burner FREE
Ultimate CD/DVD Burner
DanDans Free Burner
