MessageApp
I'm not sure if the correct board to be at, but hopefully someone can help, or at least direct me to the correct location.
Occasionally, but not always, when I shut down or restart my PC (Dim4500), I get these boxes that say "MessageApp" in the title bar and have "Dell | Alert version 1.0" and "{C}opyright Dell 2000-2001." What are these? What are these messages trying to tell me? And how do I get the MessageApp box to go away, other than turning off my PC several times?

The easiest way to solve the problem is to go into Add/Remove Programs and uninstall Dell Support. That is the application generating MessageApp. Based on user reports you won't miss the application once it's gone.
