Microsoft Update/Windows Update
I just formatted my C drive on my DImension 2350. Before I formatted the drive it had XP SP 2. Well now it has SP 1 b/c I had the CD i got from Dell when i got my computer. I can't get Microsoft Update to work. When I click on it it will go straight to this message:
[Error number: 0x80245003]
The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are trying to view. The options provided below might help you solve the problem.
I have tried everything I can think of...Can anyone help

You can try this fix:
Go to Start > Run and type in CMD [OK]. Then follow the instructions from #2 on.

I tired that link and when I typed in the long line it said Parameter format not correct. How do I fix that?

Try copy/pasteing the lines below in the RUN box, (one line at a time):
net stop wuauserv
rmdir /s /q %windir%\softwaredistribution\wuredir
net start wuauserv
