No, no ones is listening. This Dell forum must stink, no one is talking. However if I find out anything,I'll let ya know

I read your post. Maybe no-one answered because they don't know. You could try using Google, or another tech forum. I never had the problem you've described.

Here is the fix :

In the internet explorer go to Tools/Internet Options/Advanced tab.

see if" Reuse windows for launching shortcuts" is checked, if so uncheck it....worked for me.

To technically incompetent: It worked!!! May God Bless you man, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.  I have to remember that.  If you ever in the neighborhood, stop by and I'll get ya a beer!!!
