do a search on google for that file, then download it and put it where the doctor says.

Mscoree.dll is associated with a corrupted .NET Framework installation. Just do a search for "mscoree.dll" at the lower left of this board page for numerous previous posts (mine included from way back) on the source, cause, etc.

I wouldn't worry about anything System Doctor finds. That utility has outlived its usefulness. Even Symantec says to ignore it. http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/nsw.nsf/docid/2002112512224107

Thanks much all for the info. I downloaded the missing .dll file, put it back in the correct location, rebooted and WinDoctor is a now happy camper. I now realize thsi wasn't a big deal, just one of those little things that will bug the heck out of you until you fix it. Now, if someone tells me I should have followed Microsquash's convoluted instructions for uninstalling and then reinstalling the whole .Net Framework thing, but all seems well with my system, then I'll for sure ignore it.

Thanks again guys for the rapid response!
