What i would try if the emails are very important is. Remove the harddrive from computer. (The more you use the harddrive the less chance of recovery of Deleted files)
Install Harddrive in "External Harddrive Enclosure" or Internally connected to A DIFFERANT COMPUTER. Then acsess the drive as a slave drive with software like "Undelete".
