Monitor doesn't sleep

For some reason after installing Windows Media Edition, my monitor (Dell 2405FPW) no longer shuts off after the set timeout in "Power Options". It worked fine with Windows XP Pro. I tried reinstalling Media Edition twice but no luck. I installed all the right drivers and the inf file for the monitor.

Any ideas?

Are you using DVI out to the monitor or VGA???

I fixed the problem. As it turns out, a file called ehTray was(which is part of Windows Media Edition) was causing issues with the Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000. I stopped the file from loading and all is well with no ill effects so far.
