More questions about Firefox

I've searched high & low, Dell & Mozilla.  It's probably somewhere, but I can't find it.

1) Can you enable a quick change function between IE & FF through a right click menu?

2)  I can't get the small Google search bar at right of taskbar to work.  I've put in the name, used the arrow to choose "find page or Google search".  Also in reverse order, nothing happens.

The good news is, I have mastered the Tabbed browsing function.  It's great!  : - )  Thanks.

First question, yes and no.

You can install "IEVIEW" (extension) that allows you to right click a link using Firefox, and having the link open in IE. But not vice-versa.

Extensions

msil...Thanks for the link. I d/led. The icon is my desktop, but when I click it I get a blank page. Maybe it didn't install. Nothing on the toolbar. I'll have to play with it a bit. Thanks again. N

If the file is an xpi file, right click, and have it "open with"

Browse, and have it open with Firefox.

hope this helps.

The MozillaZine Forums are a good resource for questions about FireFox and other Mozilla products.

msil & jimw, Thank you both for your suggestions. I will, of course, use the Mozilla site. I tried there, but couldn't find what I wanted.
I selected FF to open ie view. Still get a blank page. Nothing on the tool (navigation?) bar at top either. I'll go back to the support site tomorrow. It shows in my fles & on desktop, so should be able to open.
Thank again. N
