Mouse cursor lags

My laptop recently had a big update, windows 10, and after the update my cursor lags when i move it. Itll work fine then stop for .3 seconds or so then move its suppose to then does it again.. I checked the hard wear abd it says the touchpad is fine i went back to a previuos update on the mousepad and its still doing the same as it did after the big update. I even tried upping the speed of the cursor when moved and still does it too.

Anyone know what i can do to fix it?

The fix is to reinstall windows 10 enterprise N 1609 and use AMD Radeon R4 Graphics 21.19.136.0

Worked in Dell inspiron 15 3555

I just bought a Inspiron 3501 and it has this problem also which drivers should I re install?

Also noticed while using a second monitor grabbing a window like task manager and dragging it the mouse cursor separates/detaches from the window being dragged?

Thank you

Dell Inspiron 7501 Laptop

I'm almost certain its the Nvidia graphics driver not functioning with Windows System in Task Manager! When the lag happens it promotes system to high cpu/memory/power usage. When I rolled back the graphics card driver it stopped mouse lag.

So it's the current (470 series c2021) Nvidia drivers that seem to be (my) mouse lag problem. I'm no genius with Dell laptops but you would think Dell are? Rolling back Nvidia drivers is stupidly hard to do when you jumped from MS Win10 standard to 471.96 so I need legacy Nvidia drivers.
