msvcp120.dll file missing

I recently formatted the c drive (primary partition) of my laptop dell N4110. Then i download the 'my dell' application from the dell site as i had to reinstall it. But after successfully doing so thogh i could open the application manually from the startup menu but i couldnot open it directly by pressing the button assigned in my laptop in the rightmost top corner of my keyboard.. The alert message showed that i had a msvcp120.dll file missing. So i downloaded the file and i extracted it in the directories c:\windows\system32 and c:\windows\sysWOW64  and then i rebooted the system. yet it wouldnot work. The button wouldnot respond and the alert message still shows.

Hi Avinab. I had exactly the same issue and resolved it by downloading this: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784 I hope it works for you too!
