my computer says that i have application failure
hello everyone,
my computer is a windows xp media center editon 2005, dimension 5150 when i tried to connect my tv cable to my computer (mine is direct connection, so no tv box) and set up
my tv connections, it says that i have application failure and tells me to
restart my computer. i restarted it, but i didin't work. so i tried to set
it up manuelly. but the problem presist. i installed the t.v guide and the
guide works. it's just that nothing is on my screen when i tried to watch
tv. (i.e black screen) do i have to register for anything?
thanks in advance

i went to device manager, and i got a list of things in the sound, video and game controllers area. i don't know which one is the tv card. so i'll list them here:
ATI Unified AVStream Drvier
Audio Codecs
Legacy Audio Drivers
Legacy Video Capture devices
Media Control Device
SigmaTel High Definetion Audio CODEC
Unimodem Half-Duplex Audio Device
Video Codec
thanks again
