My icons and text changed size and control panel does'nt help reset them. Need help!

I was running a program on my computer when it froze up. not even the task manager would work. I shut down my computer by holding in the power button for 10 sec. until it shut off and then restarted it. When it came back on, all my icons and text were much bigger. I've tried changing this in apperance and themes from my control panel and just about everything else but it does'nt work. The task bar, start up menu, even when I'm on the internet everything is 3x bigger than before. Does anyone know what's going on?
