My PSP8 Files

Along with my laptop came this folder MyPSP8 Files in My Documents. I didn't create it but it has a alot of empty subfolders labeled ; palette, scripts trusted, swatches, textures, brushes etc a couple subfolders have files pspworkspace and pspscript files in them. Does anyone know what program uses this file?

CMBianchi,

Those folders are used by Paint Shop Pro 8, which was probably preinstalled on your computer.

CMBianchi,

It is probably a submenu under Jasc Software.

Thanks, that makes sense for the intials of the file but wouldn't I have a menu item for Paint shop in the start menu? There is none.

Your question is 17 years old, so it's probably no longer relevant to you, but I just saw it and I thought that I should answer it just the same, because it's still up.

My PSP8 Files is a directory that was used by Jasc Paintshop Pro (version 8), which is now Corel Paintshop Pro (version 20). Paintshop Pro is a programme that is similar to photoshop and version 8 was the industry standard at the time.
