If your system was made before July 15, 2004 it will not have that feature. Also, if you have modified the Master Boot Record (by reinstalling XP) the feature will no longer work. In that case you may be able to recover it with the procedures
here.

My Inspiron 1150 is supposed to perform Dell PC Restore by holding CRTL and push F11 and release same time.
Not working for me, but my machine is really messed up.
