What OS are you running. It will probably be a bundled chipset installation utility. If you know what Intel chipset you have you can go to Intel.com and get it there or you can go to Dell.com and find all the drivers for your Optiplex.
Uh mombodog, we're in the "Windows Vista Beta" forum so I'd say snafuq is looking for Vista drivers, which is NOT an OS option at Dell Drivers & Downloads or at Intel.
The XP driver installers from both Dell and Intel complain about the OS and won't install.
http://blogs.technet.com/brucecowper/articles/409228.aspx indicates that something is available somewhere for 82945G but I can't find it.
Yes but you can run the install of these drivers in "Compatability" mode and they will install just fine. How you say? Just right click properties on the exe file and select the compatability tab and tick the "run in compatability mode" box and select XPSP2... this works for software also.
This thread was #3 on a MSN search for "82945g vista driver." I hope you understand my frustration at seeing the thread simply end with basically... go to Dell and/or Intel and search for the driver. Now this thread has more complete information. Thanks!
