Easy to enable Javascript per Denny's instructions.  If your program requires an updated Java Runtime Environment for XP SP2, it can be found at www.java.com. Best bet is to download to your hard drive. Restart your computer. Then run Java install.  Reason: Installation often fails if you attempt an online install or download/install while logged into a secure site.

Thanks to you all for your help. All is working well now but I'm sure I will be back again! XP is (just a bit!) different from Win 98 so I am changing all views to classic windows and find that is making things more familiar. Thanks again.

Just FYI, Java and Javascript are 2 different things.

Yes, if it is "JAVA" that is not working, then places like this would not work:

Here



If it's "Java Script", then certain functions on websites would not work, like buttons, forms, and even the submit button here.
