Nero 10 Control Centre and Nero Blu-Ray Player

Hi,

How do I uninstall Nero 10 Control Centre and Nero Blu-Ray Player from an Alienware M14xR2 Laptop?

I can't remove the identified software via Windows 7 Control Panel as there are no entries listed under the "Uninstall or Change a Program" Applet.  Also, Nero's Clean Up Tool did not work; it reported no Nero software was installed on my laptop.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Hilo999

Computer: Alienware M14xR2, Win 7 64-bit SP1, 8GB Memory, 500GB HHD, 64GB SSD, GeForce GT650M, Core i7-3740QM CPU

Hi hilo999,

The Nero 10 control Centre and Nero Blu-ray Player are located in Programs and features, to delete the same request you to follow the below steps:

(1) Click on start

(2) Type Programs and features in the search box and hit enter

(3) Now Programs and Features window appears, detect the Nero software and double click on it.

(4) Now right click on Nero 10 control Centre then uninstall it and then follow the same procedure for Nero Blu-ray Player.

Once this is done the softwares will be uninstalled, but if you still think the software is installed please let me know how you are getting to know that the software is installed.

If you have any further questions, please reply to the same post.

Hi DELL-Kiran K,

Thanks for your reply, however, your suggestion did not work.

The Nero Software is NOT detected by the "Programs and Features" Applet; while this would suggest that Nero is nolonger installed on my laptop, I beg to differ on this point.  Inspite of having NO entry listed under "Programs and Features" I can still access Nero 10 Control Panel (i.e. Start > All Programs > Nero 10  > Nero Control Panel) and I have a funtional short-cut for Nero Blu-Ray Player on my Desktop. That is, the programs are still installed and I am unable to remove them from my laptop.

I look forward to further suggestions.

Thanks,

hilo999

Hi hilo999,

The Nero 10 control Centre and Nero Blu-ray Player softwares are not present in Programs and Features option so it can be uninstalled using any third party clean-up softwares and that should fix this issue.

NOTE: Download third party softwares from trusted links.
