netfxupdate.exe

I'm running Win 7 and keep getting an update pop up asking me to install netfxupdate.exe. The "info" tab says it has to do with the .Net Framework, however, it is not Microsoft signed. Being the suspicious person that I am, I figured I would just go directly to the Microsoft page and see if there was an update for the .Net Framework and indeed there was, I updated directly from there figuring the pop up would just go away. Not so ... it's still plaguing me. Any idea if this is a legitimate update or if it is something I should be worried about? I'm running Norton 360 and have received no warnings.

A search for this file online produces a lot of chatter, some say it's a virus, others, a legitimate update.

Any input is appreciated. If more information is needed, please let me know.
