Network adapter driver problem

I have a Dimension 8250 and have just recently realized that there is a problem with the network adapters and that the local area connection in the network connections window is missing. All of the items listed in the device manager have yellow exclamation marks next to them. The list there includes the following things:

Driect Parallel
Intel (R) PRO/100 M Network Connection
Intel (R) PRO/100 M Network Connection - Packet Scheduler Miniport
WAN Miniport (IP)
WAN Miniport (IP) - Packet Scheduler Miniport
WAN Miniport (L2TP)
WAN Miniport (PPPOE)
WAN Miniport (PPTP)

I have tried to reinstall the drivers for the intel network card but that hasn't fixed anything. Do i need to reinstall drivers for the WAN Miniports? It says on the properties window for them that there is no drivers or that they are corrupted.

Check the RJ45 network connector on the back of the tower. Are the 2 LED lites next to connector lit? Click Start > Run > at address window type cmd > Click Okay > at cursor type ipconfig/all > Enter. Does your LAN connection show? Does it register an IP address?
