New Program Installed??
Once in a while when I leave the internet I will get a message that a "new program" has been installed. Is this normal since I did not install or authorize anything to be installed? How can I find out what was installed? When I look at my program listing I do not see anyting out of the ordinary. I have Spybot S&D and Spyblaster and Norton. Just curious, nothing has happened yet but I would like to know.

Windows can be persistent (and illogical) in notifying you of new program often long after they have been installed. To get rid of the prompt right-click the Start button and choose Properties. On the Start Menu tab click Customize and on the dialog that opens on the Advanced tab uncheck "Highlight newly installed programs."
