New user with a few easy Q's
I am purchasing a new Media Center PC next week and have a few questions.
I currently own a 300 hour Tivo, but the main thing I hate about it is I cannot watch one show (that has not been recorded) while recording another. Can Media Center do this?
I have just a regular 27" Sony TV (Not HD or LCD or Flat Screen) How will Windows look in it? I know it's not going to look as good as a normal computer monitor, but will I be able to at least use the computer (surf the web, email ect...) using my TV instead of a monitor?
Thanks for your help.

I just received my dimension 8300 media center pc. Can't answer the first question yet, but can answer the second. Depends on the tv and whether you use svideo in or rca. My older Toshiba tv had a terrible time dispaying computer graphics...the video portion worked fine. Had to use rca as I had no svideo input. So...
I took my computer to Best Buy and tried several tv's. Computer display on tv works much better with svideo inputs...able to surf web, read menus, etc...still some text issues with smaller fonts, etc., but is definitely usable. Hope this helps.
