New Window will not open

I have Windows XP, and IE version 7. Lately, when I'm surfing the internet, and I click on a link for a new window, it won't open. Instead I always have to right click, and then click on "open as new window". This is very annoying. Why is it doing this and how do I fix it?

Check your Tabs settings.

Tools/Internet Options/General Tab/tabs section, settings button

Hit OK on the way out.

I found this on the internet and it worked. But thanks for telling me how to get to the Tabs setting. I've been looking for that!
Thanks
