What Model PC? What Operating System? What sound do you have, the Integrated (on the motherboard) audio or a separate sound card?
A little more on the problem so we can try to assist you. What happened that started the problem? Did you do a reinstall? Did you uninstall or reinstall some software? Did the sound just stop and you tried to install the driver?
There are also Audio sections (separate sections for Desktops and for Laptops) and that is where this should have been posted.
