Norton System Works Problems
$70 and all it did is screw up my computer. Even after I uninstalled and reinstalled only AV, computer takes for ever to boot and load.Couldn't customize most of choices were greyed out.Disk Doctor cannot access C drive because of exclusive rights issue and more . Be careful if you choose to purchase and install NSW.

Symantec has instructions on their website to completely remove NSW from your computer. Go to the knowledgebase for NSW and search for "manual uninstall".

I suggest buying Nortons System Works 2003, it's the one with GO BACK. (and can be bought for a lot less than buying go back seperatly) Install Go Back and nothing else. Then go to: http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php/doc/2/ and download the free virus checker. Install Zone Alarm, for your firewall. And AdAware and Spybot for your spyware removal tools. Completely protected and only cost a under $20 (If you buy NSW from ebay) And the all work fine with SP2

Even installing just one of the NSW programs will result in a significant number of Symantec junk being added to your computer. The only program I think is worth using is Ghost, and even this program screws up the Windows ASPI layer, rendering some CD recording programs inoperable. Fortunately, Ghost can be run off a diskette.
