Well true if it works i guess i should leave it alone. I (and my wife, which is Tiena, BTW, ) is always confused about where the files go, so i moved the location to the Derek and Tiena folder.

 

So, i gues i will leave it, as long as i can find what i need.

You can't delete .dat files directly from Windows.  You can remove them in the registry and there are 3rd party software apps that can do it.  However, if it's not causing you a problem I would not delete it.  Some .dat files contain settings that you have chosen.  Most of these have to do with Internet Exporer.  Unless you know for sure what info is contained in the .dat you are refering to, just leave it alone or you will cause yourself some headaches.
