On reinstall Roxio VideoWave, needs another disk?
I had a problem with a Roxio program, and Roxio support told me to use Roxizap, which destroys files also used the program I was having a problem with, and also files used by Roxio VideoWave, so they said I'd need to reinstall it, too.
When I tried to re-install (actually, there was no "reinstall option;" it was either "Repair" or "Uninstall," so I hit "Repair"), Roxio VideoWave, I got a message saying, "Please insert the disk: VideoWave Media Creator Program CD," but it recognizes NO disk that I have as being the right one, so it won't install! Here are the disks I have (only the first two look relevant, but I'll list two others as well:
1) Roxio VideoWave Movie Creator
Dell Movie Studio Backup CD PROGRAM Install this CD2) Roxio VideoWave Movie Creator
Dell Movie Studio Backup CD CONTENT3) APPLICATION Already installed on your computer
For reinstalling Roxio Easy CD Creator 5.3.4 SP8 Basic System Software4) Emuzed - Dell Movie Studio Backup CD Driver
Keep this CD handy for easy access to the Movie Plus driver and diagnostic program.
I've been after Roxio for weeks, and they have been profoundly unhelpful. I can't imagine the problem is that I'm actually missing an installation disk. Can you help me?
Thanks!

Theophan,
Not for sure but I think that the first one is the one that you need. I personally would uninstall the software from the system and reinstall from scratch as a repair install does not always cure problems with software.

Many thanks for the suggestion, but as I feared, I just tried it, and after uninstalling it, on reinstalling it I get exactly the same message, that I am now to insert the Roxio Media Creator disc (or whatever I said in the first message), and none of the CDs I have has that title.
I'm REALLY getting frustrated with Roxio, about this. I've gotten two replies from the, and neither demonstrated that they actually read my questions, and neither of them addressed this problem in any way whatsoever. I'm hoping that Dell might be able to tell me what's going on, and what to do, given that this is Dell-installed software, and the disks say Dell all over them.
Is there a way to ask Dell this question? When I looked at the options, it looked like the only questions Dell would field were related to hardware or OS.
Thanks again!
