Onscreen info not displayed properly
My McAfee Security Center and System Restore windows do not possess the same graphics and information that the same windows have when my colleague logs on. Information is incomplete at the bottom of each window. I cannot scroll down or maximise the window to see this (system restore excepted).
The fonts and graphics look inferior - this also applies to Windows Media Center.
The McAfee problem is a pain as I cannot configure certain settings because 'next' is missing from the box.
Hope you can help,
Crit

The fonts and graphics look inferior...
Please explain this in more detail. You are aware of course that it's possible your colleague's user profile could be configured differently than yours?

...I'm a little concerned about this. Are you logged on as an Administrator? If not, that could be the reason. If so, run this on line scan ( See Note). Post back your results. Thanks!
Note:
1. Click on the link " F-Secure Online Scanner Next Generation Beta".
2. You may receive an alert on the address bar at this point to install the ActiveX control.
3. Click on that alert and then Click Insall ActiveX component.
4. Read the license agreement and click " Accept".
5. Click " Full System Scan" to download the scanning components and begin scan and cleaning.
6. When done click "Show report" and copy/paste its contents into your next reply.

The graphics are devoid of neat strap headings with colours; everything seems a little larger and butting up to, or over, the window edges. I am an administrator. Scan and cleaning results follow. Scanning type:

What antivirus application do you use on board?

It may be that McAfee has not yet updated their antivirus signatures to include this one. Post back the results.
Let's keep a good thought.

However, McAfee Virus Scan window - although enlarged too - did have proper shape, colour, content, etc. I did a full system scan which reveal one PUP: NavHelper. This could not be auto- or manually cleaned, so I quarantined it (I realised it's not a virus).
Also did Ad-Aware full scan - no issues. Still have the McAfee display problem in normal bootup. McAfee is up to date, by the way.
I'm learning alot doing this - thanks for your support.
