There is quite a bit of additional default security tightening in IE 7 compared to IE 6, so I expect this is one of those (I don't have a network so had not come across it).
Yes, you need to change the IE7 user agent string so this site thinks you're using IE6, in order to be able to access the WYSIWYG message editor. That's not the fault of IE7, but of Lithium technologies for not having provided a patch to their software. The same is true of other forums that use Lithium Technolgies software, e.g. Zone Alarm forum.
It's not bad overall, though this is the first IE7 beta I've tried.
Can't access any of the formatting options in this forum (right above where you normally type your message). I feel like someone's brought that issue up before though.
Same thing, but I prefer to give a link to the fiddlertool page rather than a download link, in case people want to read the background info about the fix.
