OPENGL 1.5

Hello.
 
I have installed a program that needs OPENGL 1.5 or later for the graphics(whatever it does iam not sure??) i am wondering where to get it from and how to use it in conjunction with the graphics card in order for it to work?
 
The program says 
 
ob3d_draw_preamble smooth: GL error: invalid operation
ob3d_draw_preamble initial: GL error: invalid operation
ob3d_draw_preamble depth: GL error: invalid operation
 
and the list goes on........
 
Some help please.

Yes iam using the Radeon 9000.
 
The program says the grahpics card has to support OPENGL 1.5 or later. Is there anyway to install OPENGL 1.5 or later or do i havet to just hope that it is supported in the Update driver???

I think the "ATI Radeon 9000 Mobility (M9)" doesn't support OpenGL 1.5
because all GPUs of the "DirectX 8" generation supports only OpenGL 1.3 or 1.4.
 
The first ATI GPU that supports OpenGL 1.5 was the Radeon 9500.
 
You may try to update the video driver, but I think it will not work.

Cheers there mate. That was the most help i couldd have asked for. I updated teh drivers but have yet to try the program. I know if it doenst wor then you were 100% correct. Hopefuly Dell updated the driver to run with 1.5 or higher. Fingers crossed.

P.S. I would'nt be able to install a new graphics card would I? Would have to install a new GPU? That could be costly.
