Operating Software
I have XP Pro with 80 GB HD and 384mb memory.
I also have MS Word.
Can I also install word perfect and then make a decision on which program I want to use. I sometimes receive emailed attachments in the word perfect format and cannot open them

There are alot of variables here on how to do this. It can depend on what version of Word you are using and what version of WP the sender is using. Here is some info on how to covert a WP Doc to a Word Doc. Also for more info go to www.google.com and input the search term Convert Word Perfect to Word and read over the results.

You can have both Word and Wordperfect on your computer at the same time if you have both programs.
