outlook express error message

Everytime I leave outlook express (6) a pop up error message appears -  "the instruction at '0x77f83905' referenced memory at '0x009b4c905'. the memory cd not be written. click on ok to terminate program"

I hv spoken to 4 dell technicians n they cannot solve the problem. I hv surf the net n came across a suggestion to search for some dbx files on my hard drive and rename them. I hv done that but cannot find any 'outbox.dbx'  or 'inbox.dbx'  or 'sent.dbx' files.  all I found was a template.dbx  file. after deleting it, the problem was still there.

Can any kind soul in here help me please, as this popup is most annoying.

auntycurry,

Those files are located in C:\Documents and Settings\Youraccount\Local Settings\Applications\Identities... The Local Settings folder is a hidden folder, so before you search for those files open Windows Explorer and go to Tools|Folder Options|View tab and select "Show hidden files and folders." Your search will then locate the files.

I used to get this message occasionally - now I get it frequently. Cannot work out why it sometimes does this. Look forward to finding the answer - for now I just click finish and all seems to be OK.
