You can use Mailwasher to preview all your mail and kill all the ones you don't want. They are deleted/bounced  at your ISP:

Thanks for your help but discovered that outlook Express automatically shows and kills mail not wanted, highlight messenger then click message on toolbar then blocksender have you tried this method instead?

No, I don't use any of the messenger services of any kind. Mailwasher Pro does all I want it to do and there is a free version available. I would rather preview all mail at my ISP and then decide what to kill and/or bounce. My 'block senders list' is empty right now as I do everything thru Mailwasher. As a matter of fact I used 'kill the messenger' from GRC for windows messenger:
