Outlook Express Mail Rules
I've discovered that Outlook Express isn't implementing my rules. I tested this by sending a mail fom my Yahoo account to my OE account with one of my banned words in the subject line - it still got through. Any ideas?

I've had inconsistant results getting OE mail rules to work also. Sometimes a new rule will work if i click "apply". Next time i add a rule it'll only apply if i don't click "apply". So each time i add or change a rule i have to try both procedures until it works.
Trouble is that most spammers are now adding spaces or punctuation marks to their titles and key words in the text in order to get by the rules anyway. I may get 30- 40 spams a day and the rules are now only rejecting maybe a half dozen where before it used to get half of them.

Thanks for your reply.
I've just realised that, having checked 'Where the message body contains
specific words', in addition to 'Where the subject line contains specific
words', must mean only mails that satisfy BOTH conditions will be deleted
from server.
It was my mistaken impression that mails satisfying EITHER
condition would be caught. I've unchecked the message body option and
the SPAM has drastically reduced.
