Could be lots of things

Go look here for more information

Control Panel / Performance and Maintenance / Admin Tools / Event Viewer / System.
Look for "Red" errors. If there are a lot, some of them will be duplicates so just post one of each.
Double click error, take a note of the Event ID and also the Source and post them back.

Like when I start up OE it shuts down as soon as it gos into my inbox.

There are no Red errors for outlook express.

I'd figgered it out what was causeing it. It was Norton Anti-Virus. I disabled Norton, Closed OE then I repaired repaired Norton with a fresh new install and that fixed it.
