Hi Brock.  Your sent messages should show up in your sent folder not your Outbox.  The Outbox ony has mail waiting to be sent.  You have set your new mail options to send yourself a copy of each message.  Are you requesting a read receipt in New messages/tools/options?  Open Outlook Express/tools/options.  Open the send tab and check each item.  Click Apply and OK.

Waited, and still some mail from the "Sent folder" shows in the inbox, even after going to the link above

I am thinking it's a corrupt "sent folder" but who knows, that's why I have my saying at the bottom.

I'm disappointed that the link didn't work.  Go to Microsoft Support and post your problem by Email (free) for technical help.  Technicians generally respond in 24-48 hours.

Yeah Paindoc,

I have decided to not use outlook express anymore, so many other ways to get mail these days. When they come out with one thing, everyone else comes out with the same thing even better.....what a joke!

That is a good solution to your problem.  I use 5 different Email services.

Hello paindoc,

Which others do you use? I would like to try more myself.

Hi.  Some of my mail services are business related and on a VPN connection, while others are from medical sites.  Road Runner offers web based mail and includes the ability to send video and movies.   I mainly use Microsoft Hotmail Live Beta, a really great free service that controls spam very well.   Some of my family like Yahoo's mail service.  As you know , AOL mail is now available even if you don't have AOL.
