Outlook Express - Switch Identity

I have a new Dimension 4600 with Windows XP Pro.  I have 3 email addresses using Outlook Express.

Sometimes when I go to switch identities OE shuts down and I cannot re-open OE until I have re-started the computer.

Solutions please.

This is a known bug in OE caused by a recent service pack.  The workaround is to use Ctrl-Alt-Delete and open the Task Manager.  On the Processes tab find msimn.exe and end that task.  MS knows of this and that is their fix until they issue a patch for it.

       I had the same problem when I first set up my Dell 2400 last September, which is running XP Home SP1.  I connect to the Internet via a cable modem and also have several identities with Outlook Express. 

       I solved this problem by going to Windows Update and downloading a HUGE amount of critical updates/patches, and then rebooting.  Afterwards I could access all my identities without OE shutting down.
