Outlook express

Question

Hi I hope some one can help, I'm loosing my mind & there's not much left, LOL.  I keep getting a connectivity error when using outlook express, it's been going on awhile, so i would just go to my  provider. I would get a bunch of A's when sending or forwarding e-mail' s peolpe have asked me to stop:womansad: So today i spent 2 1/2 hrs on the phone with tech support from my provider. They said to contact dell their phone support a pay bases. So here i am. I can not send or receive e-mails thru outlook express. A connectivity error 0x8000cccf I think. Any ideas anyone??? The closest I'm able to find to your error '0x8000cccf' is 0x800CCC0F listed in link.   http://www.nthelp.com/50/Outlook_error_codes.htm   Do you have norton?   Try disableing your AV as a test.also check your firewall.   I presume when you contacted your ISP they mentioned this.   http://speed.airtelbroadband.in/troubleshooting/sendnreceive.htm

Hey Silver Thanks for the response. I'm going to try some. Figure which on i haven't tried yet. I contacted my ISP. Thay said it was a dell issue (outlook). I've been fighting with this for months now, but it was sumer and not a biggie could get around it altho forwarding is a no no all A's in there. I keep getting a no socket error and a contectivity error. Thanks i'll give some of these a try and let you know. msjules211
