Outlook Search Does Not Work Properly
I have a problem with Outlook 2007 running on Vista. The search mechanism does not work reliably. I have some E-mails, all in the same Inbox. When I search on a single word (e.g. - "intended"), it will find some E-mails with the text, but will not find others that I can easily verify have this string. This happens most everytime with even the simplest search strings, and nothing I have tried in the settings or options seems to make a difference. Any thoughts on why this is happening?

I know it has been more than two years since this question has been asked but I will answer it nontheless, maybe someone searching for an answer will discover this question as well as my answer ;)
I do not have a direct solution to this problem, all I know is that most of my colleagues had problems as well with Outlook 2007 and the instant search.
I chose a different way to solve it, not by trying an eternity to fix this but by installing a different search tool. My choice was, is and will ever be lookeen, very good quality, no problems till now with the search, nice updates and a reliable costumer service in case of questions. The site is: www.lookeen.net
