Palm Pilot Software doesn't support Media editio

OK...is there a workaround for using my new Inspiron 9300 w WIN XP Media edition to hot sync my 2 yr old palm m515? I have no problem with my work PC (win xp and win2000), but now that I have this brand new Dell...I can't use my Palm pilot PDA. In fact, when I search the Palm website, there is a message that they don't support that op system for any of their devices.

 

Is there a way to change the win xp media to another win XP version, and how would I do this? Who could I contact at Dell??

PS...Do you think they want me to ditch my Palm and buy a Dell PDA?
