You didn't say which model your using, but does it have a floppy drive? If so, make yourself a bootable DOS floppy (see www.bootdisk.com and download the file to make yourself a Win98 boot disk). Copy pqboot.exe from the PM CD and onto the floppy. Then boot from the floppy and run pqboot.
I have a Dimension 9100. I got it fixed. I had to steal another sata drive from my other computer, and make it the master and then my dim. 9100 drive the slave. I boot up, ran partition magic, set active partition to the os, and bam I'm back in business.
Thanks for the trying though. I really appreciate it! For some reason the system refused to boot off my usb thumb drive :S.

How about a USB thumb drive? (I still don't know what model you have, so it's hard to guess what options might be available.)
